On the eve of the commemoration of May 8, 1945, I wished to present you an astonishing construction, built on a former bunker of the second world war.
With 9 high floors, after the second world war, half a century later, this bunker was added a new structure.
Rehabilitated as a home by Amort Architektur, the construction served as a basis for the creation of an extraordinary residential design.
In order to preserve its place in history, the bunker has remained unpainted, and appears as a monument of the past, on which is added a new, more up-to-date structure.
The house is contemporary, placed on an older structure, worn by the past and the second world war. The materials used, such as brick, wood and steel, create strong contrasts, which make this construction a real achievement.
