It is a family with three children who lives in a cave on a 17,000 square meter lot in a former 1930s sandstone mine. Located in Festus, Missouri, not far from the Mississippi River, this “Cave” house house “is a wonder in the heart of the forest.

The family chose to build in the cave to maximize their privacy. A large glass wall is the front of the house.

The main living room and dining room are on the ground floor, and the bedrooms are on the second floor above the kitchen. An underground source provides about 150 liters of water a day and feeds a pool of fish.
