In a system of production and mass consumption, the designer Victor Castanera invites us to reflect on mass products. He thus conceives an alternative production system by integrating the parameters of our natural habitat, by exploring nature in order to be part of sustainability.
The designer cultivates the idea of a simple creation with small series of products exploiting nature in its simplest forms, without damaging it in the process. No machines, no contamination, only a small amount of resources are needed to create the product.
The Areniscos project is a perfect example of this methodology with the manipulation of sand and water. Acrylic resin is then cast and takes the form of volume, then hardens. The designer separates the sand from the object and gets light and organic objects.
