If you want a little more harmony in your home, relax on your way home in the evening and let go, adopt the rules of Feng Shui. Chinese ancestral art, its principles lead to well-being and zenitude.
Feng Shui is first and foremost an art of common sense. It includes some rules in terms of layout, materials and colors to achieve a true harmony in your home. It is a real art of living to tend to well-being around elements such as wood, fire, earth, metal and water, to create serenity and balance.
Complementing these principles, another concept derived from Chinese art: yin and yang. An opposition which must however reign the harmony. It is applied here with the colors by choosing pastel shades corresponding to yin (creative and stimulating) and cold corresponding to yang (energy and dynamism).
We will opt for blue in a library or office because it invites calm and concentration,
for the rose in a bathroom or in the room because it invites the tender moments, the softness and the well-being, for green in an office, a room because it stimulates the creativity,
for purple for a living room for its stimulating side.
Red can be used in a living room, an entrance, an office, … except the room, because this color is energizing.
The yellow opens the appetite, I’ll let you guess where you can use it, as for the orange, they are to put small light touches because they promote inconstancy.
As for the development, Feng Shui must promote the circulation of energy according to each activity of the rooms of your house.
The entrance is the first place to enter, it must be clear, tidy and pleasant. Mirrors can expand the space and flowers can decorate the decor to create a welcoming place.
The salon has several different functions: rest, receive, eat, read … You can opt for rounded furniture forms, warm atmospheres with a fireplace for example, cushions, everything that promotes comfort.
For cooking, common sense always: Avoid placing your sink next to the oven and keep your refrigerator away from sources of heat. The water and the fire, the hot and the cold are opposed but that you will have understood it.
The bathroom must be well lit with natural materials and light colors to create a moment of fullness when you wash.
The room is a place of rest. It must be simple, tidy and soft.
