FETICHH, the exhibition!

FETICHH, the exhibition! The vernissage of the exhibition FETICHH took place on Thursday, December 1st . An association of the work of two complementary artists in the approach of sensuality, the photographer Claude Alexandre and the exceptional furniture designer Michel Haillard.

A renowned photographer, Claude Alexandre has published in numerous media.

Her photography is the emblem of the vision of eroticism of the 70s, sexual liberation, where she revisits the body in all its extremes. His work reveals parts of the body in a fabulous game of strong contrasts and light. There are highlighted man and woman, fetishism, and sadomasochism in a refined photograph, revealing these themes with gentleness and respect. Far from being shocking, clichés arouse interest and tell this world by exposing it without judgment and by revealing its beauty.

To accompany his works, Michel Haillard, creator of universes, made especially for the occasion, furniture sculptures and many other objects inspired by the photographic work of Claude Alexandre. The photographer exposes the bodies while the furniture receives them.

But Fetishh, it’s not just that. Armchairs dressed with skins of animals and horns are staged in harmony with the black and white exposed clichés. The details of furniture creation are also sensual, with sculptural forms, amazing and often tinged with humor. Each furniture-sculpture is observed, touches all the seams and we see appear here or there the shape of a body, the lace of a corset, the rope, a mirror, …

I was able to discover this surprising exhibition on the occasion of the opening Thursday, December 1 st , it is to discover absolutely!

Welcomed by a chair suspended by ropes, it is the first work of Michel Haillard who is revealed outside in front of the entrance of the Sparts gallery.

If the idea of such an exhibition can surprise and raise questions, it appears that the association of the work of these two talented artists works. An astonishing approach to the vision of sensuality where the works communicate with each other with elegance. Beautiful work, a beautiful exhibition that met with great success and great artists.
