An astonishing encounter between two worlds, one photographic, the other phantasmagorical furniture, for an intriguing exhibition where the photography reveals the bodies and where the furniture receives them.
Two particular and singular universes will meet for an exhibition entitled FETICHH. Forty black and white fetish photographs signed Claude Alexandre, photographer (deceased in 2010) will be exhibited with the installation of the spooky furniture specially made for the event created by Michel Haillard, universe creator.
It is an amazing encounter between extravagant furniture made from animal skins, horns and precious materials that are extraordinarily assembled to create sculpture-furniture where animality is sublimated with grace and respect, in association with body photography. in all its states namely the bondage, the enveloping, the SM. The photography highlights the bodies while the spooky furniture receives them.
A disconcerting encounter, surprising, overwhelming, offbeat, even daring … and yet, the marriage of the work of these two artists works!
Claude Alexandre and Michel Haillard
I had the opportunity and especially the chance to meet the artist Michel Haillard and I know from experience that the magnificent result of his work corresponds in every respect with his cheerful, lively, caring, creative and rich personality in many ways domains, constantly looking for new perspectives. If this great gentleman chose this theme and associate his works with the photographic work of a great lady like Claude Alexandre, it is certainly not a coincidence.
