Louis XIV entrance

Royal decor for this entry completely revised in a Louis XIV style.

The floor is covered with a floor on which was placed a period carpet. Two decorative columns have been added symmetrically to create a passage zone.

Two large green velvet curtains were installed behind the columns to warm the scene. A little further, two antique armchairs were placed on each side of the entrance to the back room.

The sides of the walls forming the entrance to the back room were painted trompe l’oeil to create the illusion of two doors. The wall of the back room was also painted trompe l’oeil to create the illusion of a piece of furniture typical of the court of Louis XIV.

Finally, a Louis XIV style chandelier was installed in the center of the entrance completing the perspective.
